Mirugam movie which opened with good acclaim in the theatres on 14th december did not attract many women
because of the story of the movie about a HIV-AIDS patient. In order to attract women a special show has been organised by producer Karthik Jai especially for ladies.
The movie went through a series of troubles before release with Padmapriya complaining about director Samy
hitting her on the sets, blue cross refusing to clear the certification. The film Mirugam has newcommer Aathi and Padma priya as the leading pair of the movie.
