Kakinada: The third phase of Akshara Bharati will commence in the district on March 25. It is aimed at educating 32,410
women members of DWCRA and Self-Help Groups through 2,142 continuing education centres.
Each centre will train 15 women, according to Deputy Director of Adult Education Department M. Ammaji Rao.
Officials, mandal literacy officers and motivators (‘Preraks’) will be given training from March 17 to 24 on the issues pertaining to the implementation of Akshara Bharati.
